(3) 幸せになろうとして、富を求めたのに、 賢明であるようにと、貧困を授かった。 (I asked for riches, that I might be happy I was given poverty, that I might be wise...)
(4) 世の人々の称賛を得ようとして、成功を求めたのに、 神様の存在に自分が気付けるようにと、弱さを授かった。 (I asked for power, that I might have the praise of men I was given weakness, that I might feel the need of God...)
(5) 人生を楽しもうと、たくさんのものを求めたのに、 あらゆることを楽しめる命を、自分はすでに授かっていたことに気付いた。 (I asked for all things, that I might enjoy life I was given life, that I might enjoy all things...)

Look at the sky. Ask yourselves: Has the sheep eaten the flower, yes or no? And you will see how everything changes. And no grown-ups will ever understand why it is so important!
